Drowning Rhostyllen
Homes for Locals: People before Profit!
Attention Rhostyllen residents!
-
How would you like to have an extra 220 houses built on the outskirts of Rhostyllen for wealthy city commuters?
-
How would you like to have an extra 220 (or more!) cars clogging up the streets of Rhostyllen?
-
How would you like to have 220 houses built in YOUR community that YOUR children will not be able to afford?
Well that’s exactly what the National Trust are planning to do with the piece of land belonging to the Erddig estate on the Rhostyllen side of the railway.
Oh, don’t worry – they say 25% of the houses will be ‘affordable’… which probably means they’ll be less than £200,000! They won’t say WHO will be able to afford them.
25% for some lucky few locals? Why not 100%? That’s what they have in the Yorkshire Dales, and Shropshire – and we deserve the same.
Please make sure that you fill in all the fields below – otherwise your objection may be discounted!
For your objection, why not point out either that you are opposed altogether to this development, or that you call on Wrexham County Council to give planning permission ONLY if 100% of the houses are for local need only?
